Q:Do you need to tear town walls and rip out all of your cabinets to make an update in your home?
A: Maybe sometimes, but not all the time!
There are always situations when removing walls and creating a new footprint are helpful! However, rolling in with a sledge hammer is not always necessary to make a big impact. We regularly get contacted to assist our clients in their projects of updating a space instead of overhauling their entire home!
What could a “refresh” look like?
- Updating wall color
- Painting cabinets
- Changing hardware on cabinets or doors
- Update flooring
- Changing out light fixtures
- Replacing countertops
- Installation of a new backsplash
- Adding accent walls or trim
(Maybe only one of those things, maybe multiple of them)
We had a client come to us this Spring who wanted to keep the footprint of their kitchen, but update the countertops, paint, change the hardware, and install new floors and pantry cabinet to match their current cabinets. They came with a design plan, and we assisted them in bringing it to life! (The homeowners even wanted to paint their own cabinets as part of the process, and they turned out great!) We love partnering with you!

As you can see, this client wanted butcher-block countertops, paint updates, new backsplash, and a few updates to the cabinets. We matched their current style door and installed a pantry cabinet to add some additional storage, as well as new cabinet doors without frosted glass.
So remember, you don’t always have to spend $50,000, remove walls, and change everything about your space to make a big impact! A refresh may just be what you need!
